Learn Remote
Software Development
Live lessons, flexible hours, 1:1 mentorship. Build real production apps.
What is DevAnywhere?

DevAnywhere is a remote mentorship subscription program consisting of live video lectures, 1:1 mentorship, and lifetime access to an archive of video, books, and lesson content.

It is designed to elevate you to the highest levels of technical excellence throughout your career. Our mentorship offerings are suitable for anybody building JavaScript applications or leading JavaScript development teams.

How Does DevAnywhere Work?
The ingredients are simple:
1:1 mentorship that moves at your own pace
Live video talk series
App building assignments
Collaboration with other students
The mentorship begins with a 1,000 hour certification program that will guide you through the foundations of app architecture and composition in JavaScript. Think of it as onboarding into advanced JavaScript skills and foundational fluency in functional programming. It continues with 300 hours contributing to real production software projects in collaboration with other students.
What Will You Learn?

We teach full-stack JavaScript, beginning with the two pillars of JavaScript: Functional Programming and Prototypal Inheritance.

We teach software architecture foundations using the basic building blocks of function composition and object composition. You'll learn lessons that apply to many other languages and tech stacks.

How is the Curriculum Unique?

The curriculum was designed and refined by  Eric Elliott  and  JS_Cheerleader  over a period of several years, engaging actively with students and learning better ways to teach tricky topics like functional programming, category theory, and component composition.

You won't find lessons like these anywhere else. We've logged thousands of hours of 1:1 student training to distill the curriculum plan for the best student experience. You'll start out learning the foundations of functional programming and composition which are often glossed over in other resources. Having a better understanding of those concepts helps you create better software.

Several graduates from ivy-league university CS programs and dev bootcamps have enrolled in our curriculum program and tell us they learned more with us than from everything else combined.

What Is The Schedule Like?
4 1-hour group lessons per week, recorded in case you miss a session.
1 hour per week of 1:1 mentorship customized for your individual learning needs. Select the hours that work best for your schedule.
Plan for 1-3 hours of homework time for each mentor hour.
Plan an additional 3-5 hours per week to work on apps.

We recommend a minimum 10-hours per week time commitment. You may invest as many hours as you like to accelerate your learning. You'll be paired with an expert mentor to answer your questions and monitor your progress.

How Much Does It Cost?
